The experience is built around a digital wallet of hike cards, where each card represents a shared adventure. Instead of navigating through maps and lists, users can quickly browse upcoming hikes, participants, dates, and locations in one simple overview. Each card translates key planning data, including distance, location, date, participants, and trail preview, into a into a clear visual format.

2. Interactive trail slider

Complex outdoor data, including temperature, precipitation, wind speed, elevation, and the trail profile, is translated into intuitive visualizations. An interactive trail slider is directly linked to the route, allowing hikers to see exactly what weather and trail conditions to expect at each point of the journey, making it easier to prepare for changing conditions along the hike.

3. Personalized recommendations

Based on the selected hike, Montara also translates weather conditions, temperature, terrain, and trail difficulty into personalized gear recommendations. The visual packing guide helps every hiker, from beginner to expert, know exactly what to bring before setting off.
