The website »Communication Design in Mainz« was relaunched to better communicate the creative and open-minded character of the communication design degree program at Hochschule Mainz.
Firstly, we conducted interviews and analyzed the current website as well as the competitive environment. Based on that data, we developed a new design concept that strengthens the brand »Hochschule Mainz« and additionally provides an ideal showcase for student projects. After successfully pitching our concept to the university’s committee, all guidelines were summarized in a design manual.
Project in collaboration with Isabella Lang.

Design manual and UI/UX guidelines for
the new website.
The main idea behind our concept was to create an inviting, highly visual user experience that showcases the students' creative work in the best possible way. For this purpose, we designed a large, collage-like stage that highlights the individual work.
As student assistants, we supported and monitored the implementation process of the website, and the final result can now be found under: https://kd.hs-mainz.de/
